Anything Attractive to Explore?

Yes, History classes were boring at school times but, seeing the historic Forts of majestic infrastructure and observing the lifestyle of mighty rulers was never out of the interest.

The primary spot to visit at here is Mehrangarh Fort, which is said to be one of the largest forts built in India. This major attraction was built in 15th Century by Rao Jodha. The fort now revamped as a museum preserves most of the prominent artifacts from the ancient rule.

Entry charges are 100 INR, and extra charge of 100 INR is applicable for DSLR holders. Audio Guide is definitely recommended for those who don't want to miss a penny detail. The next major spot is Umaid Bhawan Palace, which was once home of the royal families is now partially a Museum and a regal hotel managed by Taj Hotels. The Entry for the museum costs 30 INR which showcases objects from the history and had a lot of history involved in it. What's more interesting is that, they also have various vintage car collection on display. On certain occasions and rallies these are brought outside as well. TripAdvisor Link!

The third and the least crowded spot is, Kaylana Lake. Said to be an Artificial Lake, this place is now a calm spot at a very remote location. Conveyance is quite limited at here from Jodhpur so, planning it for a daytime visit is highly recommended.
