When the vintage still remains the best! Zerruco by Hotel Ashok is one of the good old outlets which still has the kind of stunning ambiance and lavish food.
A well maintained outdoor seating and indoor perfectly lit aura is indeed a fact that Ashoka has kept the premium aspect intact to its outlets.
Talking about intramurals, the lush outlet has catchy high tables and pink cushioned chairs. A long group table is where decided to be seated together!
Apart from outdoor the indoor is well in center and dim day light glaring the corners give a much alluring presence to the ambiance.
Not much of waiting, we had ordered their fine delicacies. Food is no doubt flawless and perfectly done. We have got the chefs special delicacy which made us admire them more. In SALADS we had, ➊ Apple and Feta Cheese Salad. Fresh wholesome apple orange pieces spiced up and garnished with feta cheese. Healthy and tasteful delight.
âž‹ Chicken Caesar Salad. Quality chicken sliced and cheesed with lettuce is heavenly. Always been a worthy order. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
In STARTERS we had, ➊ Mediterranean Falafel. A veg delicacy. Chickpea falafel tasted commendable. Served with Pita, this could be a major preference. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
âž‹ Cottage Cheese Shawarma. Nicely presented paneer and mayo stuffed classic shawarmas. As scrumptious as it could be.
➌ Chicken Shish Taouk. Traditional grilled chicken breasts nicely marinated and presented so alluring. The western dishes are so compelling and worth appreciated when the same is being served here too. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
In PIZZAS we had, ➊ Ortolana Pizza. The Pizzas were freshly served hot from oven and they were utter delish. Typically this pizza was stuffed with wholesome mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, tomatoes, asparagus. The healthy veg delight had a heavenly delight. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
âž‹ Chicken Shish Touk Pizza. A divine taste with splendid stuffing of grilled chicken, shredded mozzarella cheese, onion, capsicum, bell pepper and tomatoes. The chicken tasted scrumptious, but the only part we had to leave is the corners of the crust as they were slightly burnt.
➌ Calzone Pizza. A humongous Calzone Pocket topped with cherry tomato. The closed pocket pizza is zestful with red bell peppers, herbs and wholesome cheese is always best to order in pizzas. Presentation had a pizza slicer which looks more eye catching. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
In MAINS we had, ➊ Dajaj Fakara. Tender chicken served with Tomatoes, Lemon Juice and Til Seeds was an utter delight to mains. A lightly spiced and an essence of olive oil tasted heavenly and paired well with Rice being served. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
âž‹ Morrocan Veg. Tagine. A Morrocan styled tagine cooked with broccoli, tomatoes, til seeds, harrissa and chopped vegetables. The dish was commendably made and gave a perfect resemblance to morrocan styled eatery.
In DESSERT we had, ➊ Tiramisu. Comes way more alluring than anything. Comes in a martini glass the dessert was topped with cocoa decorated to denote the initial letter of the restaurant which looks more wow. The blend of coffee in the custard was heavenly and to admit, its been a while to taste tiramisu done so perfectly. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
âž‹ Banofiee Pie. English pie with bananas, cream and toffee. The toffee came so different and fulfilling. Overall it was a best treat to end up with sweet note. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
In DRINKS we had, ➊ The Axe. Tequila, Martini Rosso, Coriander, Honey, Pineapple, Angostura. The amalgamation of martini and tequila is commendable and with much influence of coriander in the drink made it more commendable. The axe signifies the cutting harsh taste induced in it. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* ➋ The Passion of Zerruco. Vodka, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Cardamom, Lime. Nice simple and refreshing garnished with pineapple pieces. The light blend of passion fruit and dominating taste of cardamom is really a specialized cocktail we could appreciate of. With such delish food journey, we had got an overall joyous experience in terms of grooving music and prompt service. There's always a staff filling the empty glasses of water, or any kind of problems we were facing! The only let down was their hookah which smoked quite less and didn't improvise even after several coal change. Rest, it's never be point to leave this outlet's preference!
